It is simple to make, and we have two options for you to choose from.
Print & Cut Out
Print on cardstock/heavy weight paper. Punch a hole at the top, where indicated with a circle. Allow child to color ornament as desired, then cut out. Measure child’s height with a piece of ribbon. Cut the ribbon to child’s height and tie to ornament.
Clear Ornament Bulb
Print and cut to fit in a clear ornament bulb. Measure child’s height with a piece of ribbon. Cut the ribbon to child’s height and insert in ornament.

Allow your child to cut out the ornament design to build fine motor skills. Measure your child’s height and then use that number to measure a piece of ribbon – talk about the numbers to build numeracy skills. Measure in centimeters and inches and talk about the different measurement systems. Ask your child to color the ornament in a pattern to build pattern recognition skills. Talk about different holidays and how people around the world celebrate. There are so many learning opportunities available!
