EdFest – Engage & Connect registration

Our first annual Off-Site Staff Professional Day will be held at Kirkbrae Country Club on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. This full day staff training is for all employees of Dr. Day Care, Kids Klub, and Therapeutic Child Care Services.

Hear from guest speakers, learn new skills, win prizes, and participate in fun team building activities. This year’s theme will be “Engage and Connect.” Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided. While this event is about children, it is not for children – staff only.

Where will EdFest be held?

Who is expected to attend?

This event is mandatory for all employees of Dr. Day Care, Kids Klub, and Therapeutic Child Care Services. If you cannot attend, please indicate why on your registration and speak to your supervisor.

Is this a paid day?

Yes, all employees will be paid their hourly rate for attending.

Will the center/site be open?

Dr. Day Care and Kids Klub sites will be closed, as employees attend the off-site full day training. The Home Office will be open, the Home Office staff can choose to attend the training or work in the office as normally scheduled.

Where should I park?

Please park in the event parking lot – located across the street from Kirkbrae Country Club.

What meals will be provided?

Breakfast, lunch, & refreshments will be provided. There will be a continental breakfast with assorted pastries and muffins, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee in the morning. For lunch, enjoy the Slider Bar with hamburgers/cheeseburgers and chicken with french fries or the Salad and Pasta Station.

Can I bring my child with me?

While this event is about children, it is not for children – staff only.
