Shout out to Lydarsya – our Employee of the Season!
Lydarsya has been with the organization since July 2022. She holds the position of Lead Toddler Teacher at DDC North Providence . Congratulations Lydarsya!
Some feedback from coworkers includes:
“I am nominating Lydarsya because of her dedication and commitment to the children and families she works with in her classroom. When the center was looking for a lead toddler teacher Lydarsya noticed how new teachers would start but not stay. This frustrated her. Not only for herself but for the children and families having to adjust to these frequent changes. Lydarsya decided to do something about this and asked if she could be the lead teacher and offer stability to the children and families in her care. Since then Lydarsya has taken on the task of lead teacher by taking ownership of the classroom, participating in LearnERS, completing her first college course and now hoping to join the TEACH program to continue her education. We are so proud of the dedication she has shown to our team, children and families”
Other nominees:
Lisandra Estrela – Dr. Day Care North Providence I have observed Lisandra on many different occasions including those listed below) be so on point and tuned into individual children’s needs, particularly those that need some extra support. On a recent field trip to the zoo, one particular child needing some additional help and guidance and Lisandra was very adept at offering that extra one-one-one for him. A similar, tuned in relationship was observed during graduation for a different child who was beaming with happiness, as were his parents! Over an over again Lisandra provides what the children need with her nurturing but also matter of fact style.
