Dr. Day Care adopted Evans Park, located near the Lincoln High School, through the Lincoln Conservation Commission outreach program. Evans Park is named after Sgt David Paul Evans who was killed in the Vietnam war. We were honored to have his family join us for our first visit to clean up this beautiful community spot!
Giving back to our community has always been important to us at Dr. Day Care. During school vacation / school breaks, our Dr. Day Care Smithfield & Kids Klub North Smithfield students have joined us to assess future needs for the park and do some clean up! Gorgeous weather while we took care of our environment together!
We also made some exciting new updates to the Dr. Day Care Adopt A Spot at Evans Park in Lincoln! 🍂🍃 Our Founder, Dr. Mary Ann, recently won a bench from Back Atcha Outdoor Furniture and we purchased a second bench – stop by and sit in the shade outside the pavilion or enjoy the beautiful view by the lake! 🌿 Our school age students also helped us paint a small child-sized picnic table (coming soon! it will be installed next spring). We also met with a maintenance company, Blackridge Properties, to discuss options for future upgrades.
Thank you to Champlin Tire Recycling for the new park benches – 100% recycled plastic and rubber composition makes these products durable, low maintenance, and weather resistant. Champlin Tire Recycling, Inc is committed to responsible waste tire recycling endeavors and disposal.
